Kolkata: A video of Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Firhad Hakim has gone viral on social media. In this, he is calling the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Central Security Force CISF a 'pig'. Hakim is a former Kolkata mayor and a minister in Mamata Banerjee's government.

This video has also been shared by BJP spokesperson Tajinder Singh Bagga on social media. In this, while addressing a roadshow, Hakim is saying, "BJP is a pig's child, if BJP, a pig's child comes, first kill them. Where will you go? Beat them Kill the pig's children". After inciting violence against BJP workers, TMC supporters tell Hakim that when BJP workers came to his area, they drove out the BJP people. After this, Firhad Hakim can be heard saying, "They brought the CISF, the Railway Police.

This is not the first time that Firhad has come into controversy for such statements. Earlier, Hakim had termed the Muslim-dominated area of Kolkata as 'Mini Pakistan' and was heard giving a political speech at the mosque in February this year, while the Model of Conduct clearly stated, "There will be no appeal for caste or communal sentiments to get votes. Mosques, churches, temples, or other places of worship will not be used as a platform for campaigning".
