3 BJP supporters shouting "Desh Ke Gaddaron Ko..." got arrested

Chandannagar: In West Bengal, three activists, including Suresh Sahu, a youth unit president of BJP's Hooghly district, have been arrested by the police recently. It is said that there is an allegation of imposing a controversial slogan of 'Shoot country's traitors' on the three. The trio had made a controversial slogan of 'Shoot the country's traitors' in the roadshow of party leader Suvendu Adhikari and that is why the three have been arrested. The case has been reported by the police today.

Police said BJP workers have been arrested for shouting objectionable slogans. Talking about the case, an official said, "There was a party program in Hooghly district on Wednesday. In the meantime, some BJP workers have come and started shouting objectionable slogans. As soon as the case was found out to the district police, they immediately registered the case. After that, the police also arrested three persons. Now, in this case, the police say, "the three arrested persons will be produced in the court.''

In the roadshow in the Hooghly MP Locket Chatterjee at Rathtala area of Chandannagar and Rajya Sabha member Swapan Dasgupta was the Suvendu officers. The activists behind his truck had placed the BJP flag and the tricolor. Now, in this case, spokesman Samik Bhattacharya says, "The party's flag cannot be supported by objectionable sloganeering in the hands.''
