The ruling Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal is continuously opposing the citizenship law. The Bengal government has also said that it will not allow the law to be implemented. The situation has become such that the bloody struggle between TMC and the opposition party BJP is not taking the name of stopping. On Tuesday, a Trinamool worker was shot dead in Bardhaman district. The party has accused the BJP for doing this.

On Tuesday, a Trinamool worker named Rathin Biswas was shot dead by unknown people in the Bardhaman district. Police reached the spot and took the dead body and sent it for postmortem.
