Pakistan and West Indies test series in UAE has concluded with Caribean team winning the last and final game in Dubai. Winning team West Indies defeated Pakistan with 5 wickets remaining. Earlier in the tournament after being defeated two consecutive games, West Indians have shown a good show to end the tournament with a winning notch. It is their first win since 2012 playing away from home. Talking about playing against the opponent, it was the gap of 26 years West Indies team has taken to beat Pakistan playing away from home.

The winning credit goes to all-around performer Kraigg Brathwaite who has scored 142 and 60 in consecutive innings of the game. The game is worth appreciating because they have beat the world number 2 team in test ranking.

It was a historic game for the Pakistan captain Misbah-Ul-Haq as well, he has surpassed the record for captaining the team in test matches going ahead with legendary Imran Khan. After a defeat, he has the good feeling for lifting the trophy since the team has taken the lead 2-1 in the three-match series.

This was West Indies’ first victory over Pakistan outside the Caribbean after 1990. Moreover, it was their first away victory under Jason Holder’s leadership.
