According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), several areas of Western Uttar Pradesh are being suspected to be hit by huge thunderstorm and rain which may be followed by a squall, on Monday. As per the IMD, Maharashtra is receiving its Monsoon showers in its west parts and also areas of Odisha, West Bengal and Assam in the east and northeast India. In the previous week also, a deadly thunderstorm reportedly had hit the various parts of Uttar Pradesh which killed around 10 people and 28 others were left injured. However, the people of Delhi have been suffering from extreme heat waves and has been occupied by the very harmful haze dust from Rajasthan. While in Rajasthan, the level of pollution is seeing a continuous and rapid increase. A maximum temperature of 36 degrees was recorded in Delhi on Sunday. while the minimum temperature recorded was 28 degrees. The thunderstorm warning has been issued majorly for the Delhi NCR region.

The IMD in its "All India Weather Warning Bulletin" released a systematic day-wise weather report about the various areas across the country from June 17 to June 21.

Well the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam may expect heavy rainfall today.
