PM Modi Takes Part in Consecration Ceremony at Ram Temple in Ayodhya

New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi actively participated in the consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlalla at the newly-constructed Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya on Monday. The Prime Minister arrived in Ayodhya earlier in the day to join in the auspicious proceedings.

Expressing the significance of the divine moment of Pran Prathishta of Shri Ram Lala in Ayodhya Dham, PM Modi shared, "It is an emotional moment for everyone. It is my good fortune to be part of this unique program. Jai Siyaram," in a tweet.

The ceremony, held at the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, is also attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. With over 8,000 guests invited, the grand temple hosts representatives from all major spiritual and religious sects in the country. Notably, individuals from various walks of life, including representatives of different tribal communities, are also present. The Prime Minister is set to address this distinguished gathering during the occasion.

Details of Consecration Ceremony:
The idol of Shri Ram Lalla was ceremoniously installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the newly constructed grand temple on Thursday evening. The consecration ceremony for the idol is scheduled to occur in Ayodhya at 12:30 PM on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance. The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony rituals, initiated on Tuesday, will continue for seven days. The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has extended invitations to numerous VIP guests for their participation in the ceremony.

Significance of Ayodhya's History:
India is gearing up for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, marking the site where the Babri Masjid stood until December 6, 1992.
