Mumbai: In the midst of the ongoing political turmoil in Maharashtra, the reaction of senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut of the Uddhav faction has now come to the fore. On the speculation that NCP leader Ajit Pawar would join the NDA alliance, Raut said that the party does not break due to the departure of 20–25 MLAs from the NCP. Attacking the central government, he said that pressure is also being put on NCP leaders through ED or CBI.

At the same time, NCP chief Sharad Pawar has also responded to the news about Ajit Pawar. Pawar said, 'These things are the gift of the media; they are not in our minds." I am going to Mumbai. We are trying to strengthen the party. I don't have any other ideas. Like all leaders, Ajit Pawar is also busy preparing for the elections and nothing else. Sharad Pawar further said, 'Some people are only making news; apart from this, these things have no meaning. The discussion that is in your mind is not in the mind of any of us, so it has no importance.

Sharad Pawar said that, and I can say about the NCP that all the leaders working in this party are working on how to strengthen the party with one idea. It was heard that there is a meeting of MLAs; this is absolutely false. The party's state president, Jayant Patil, is working in his constituency. Ajit Pawar is also engaged.
