There was the return of Kurt Angle and his first WWE match in 11 years surprise teaming with the Shield. There was AJ Styles' second WWE Championship win and his dream match against Brock Lesnar. There was the long awaited dream feud between Roman Reigns and John Cena. There was even Bray Wyatt's first WWE title win, the return of the Hardys and Matt Hardy becoming "Woken," as well as the main roster debuts of Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura. We all witness the final match of the legendary icon deadman ‘The Undertaker’. That’s not all we see Money in the Bank winner in Divas, Baron Corbin unsuccessfully cash-in. The rising of Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal as he was crowned 50th WWE Champion. Well we all see reunion of the Shield.
In other words, WWE fans should be thankful for everything we've gotten in 2017, while those in WWE should be more than satisfied after the company set a quarterly revenue record and once nearly amassed two million WWE Network subscribers. Sure, there have been plenty of misses in 2017, like Lesnar essentially squashing Braun Strowman and the disaster that was Wyatt vs. Randy Orton, but overall, it was quite apparent that many fans got what they've long been wishing for this year. Wow, what an great moment does we all had witness in this year.
