Indore: A case of stone pelting on Hindus has come to light in 'Mahajani Tola', a Muslim-dominated area in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The victim says that the number of Hindus in the area is very less. By taking undue advantage of this, radical Muslims are continuously torturing them. So that the Hindus are forced to flee from that place.
The case is being reported from Kotwali police station area of Narsinghpur district. Mahajani Tola comes under this. Imrat Prajapati, a Dalit Hindu living in Naya Bazar here, has lodged a complaint with the police stating that on Monday (June 14) night, he was sleeping in his house when suddenly stone pelting started. As soon as the sleep was opened, when I went to the courtyard, I saw that there were stones there. The roofs of the house were broken. Imrat says that she called some people and showed them this and informed the police. Two constables came from the police station, when they saw it and left, suddenly stone pelting started again. Imrat alleged that Muslim fundamentalists in the area do such things the next day. Due to this, many Hindu families have been forced to flee from here before. The victim has demanded the administration to conduct patrolling in the area.
Speaking to the media, the victim, Imrat Prajapati, said, "There was stone pelting at my house in the night. But because it was dark, I couldn't see anyone. I have three small children, playing in the courtyard and the stone can hit them anytime. Only 4-5 houses belong to Hindus. A year and a half ago, there was stone-pelting here. But when i complained, the stone pelting stopped. So far, 2-3 Hindu families have fled from here by selling their houses. We're all living in fear here. '
