New Delhi: Enemy countries around the world are plotting against each other in many ways. Hybrid warfare is part of this. It is a war that is fought without any weapons. This is raising concerns in more ways than one. Last year, underwater explosions in the Baltic Sea ripped a hole in the Nord Steam gas pipeline. This pipeline built between Denmark and Sweden has also been damaged. It was built to transport gas to Germany. After the explosion, Russia clearly said that it has no hand in it yet. However, Western countries have also expressed suspicion that Russia has retaliated by creating a new gas barrier in Germany due to its support for Ukraine. In this way, the way of harming a country is being called a hybrid war.

What is Hybrid War?: If you understand in simple language, then instead of directly attacking a country, trying to harm it slowly is called Hybrid War. For example, causing harm to a country and conducting cyber attacks. Along with this, to change democracy in western countries, starting such activities which are harmful for it. All this is also a part of hybrid warfare.

How dangerous is it?: Hybrid cases can be said to be no less dangerous than a war fought with weapons. This is because in such cases everything is ambiguous. The countries which are facing this attack are also facing difficulties and they do not get to know who is behind them. Its aim is not only to harm the property of the country. Due to this, the leadership of the country is also being changed by influencing the elections. The news says that elections can also be influenced through this. After 2016, Russia also continuously interfered in the US election process. Has also campaigned in support of Donald Trump to prevent Hillary Clinton from reaching the US presidency. Although Russia has always refused this. Reports say online bots were also used and a lot of disinformation was spread with the help of accounts linked to cyber activity backed by the Putin government. These are being worked out from St. Petersburg. This hybrid war has gained momentum following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The most troubled by them are NATO and western countries.
