The event at the 64th Grammy Awards, scheduled for January 31 in Los Angeles, USA, has been postponed for some time. Which is due to the rapidly growing omicron variant of coronavirus. The Recording Academy, which organises the prestigious award ceremony, has announced its postponement on Wednesday. The academy says the risk due to omicron is going to increase at the grand event on January 31.

The Recording Academy is also scheduled to say that they are going to announce a new date for the event soon. The Grammys' official broadcast CBS and The Recording Academy have also made their joint statements on the case. The statement said that the Recording Academy and CBS are scheduled to postpone the 64th Grammy Awards show after discussions and discussions with city and state officials, health and safety experts, the artist community and many of our colleagues.

New date to be announced soon: According to media reports, the statement further says that the health and safety of the people of our music community, live audiences and hundreds of people who work tirelessly to build our shows are our priority first. Like most major awards in early 2021, it has been decided to postpone the Grammy Awards because of the Corona virus.  Last year, this musical celebration has been held at outdoor sets at the Los Angeles Convention Center instead of staples center.
