Andrew Garfield, who played Spider-Man in the 2012 film "The Amazing Spider-Man" and its 2014 sequel, believes that fans would never tire of the character, which is presently played by Tom Holland. He went on to say that everyone can put themselves into the costume, which is why he's arguably the most popular superhero on the planet.

"It's like 'Hamlet,' like you can never have enough 'Hamlets' or 'Macbeths,'" Garfield told SiriusXM. For a second, I'll vouch for the character because he's the only superhero who's fully clothed from head to toe.

"You don't notice racial colour, sexual orientation, or any of those things," says the narrator. The actor feels that the character's continuing popularity comes from the fact that "everyone" can imagine themselves as Spider-Man, who originally debuted in Marvel Comics in 1962.

"Everyone can put themselves into the outfit," he added, "and I believe that's why he's arguably the most adored superhero internationally, across all cultures and races." Yes, I believe so. Yes, I believe so.

"There's also an ordinary side to Peter Parker that everyone can put themselves into." Tom Holland, who replaced Garfeild as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the movie 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' is scheduled to reprise the role in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home.'

According to source, Garfield is content to see the superhero from afar. "I believe that Tom Holland is just the ultimate Peter Parker and Spider-Man, so I'm just really thrilled," he remarked on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" regarding the next film.

"And I get to just like, be a fan again, which is my preferred position - to be able to sit in the audience and kind of go, 'Yeah, you screwed up mate, you didn't do it as well as you could have done, eh?' I get to be that guy that's just like, 'Yeah, I don't really love the suit...' I get to be that person which is so much fun."
