It is now being told that after the end of President Ram Nath Kovind's term as president, his new address could be 12 Janpath Bungalow in Lutyens' Delhi.

According to information provided by the sources, the 12 Janpath bungalow, one of the largest bungalows in Lutyens' Delhi, was allotted to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Ashwini Vaishnaw now lives in a bungalow on Prithviraj Road. Sources said that officially the bungalow has not been officially allotted to anyone so far. The bungalow can be allotted to Ram Nath Kovind after completing his term as president.

It may be recalled that in this bungalow, lok janshakti party (LJP) founder and former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan lived. After the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, the bungalow was vacated by the government in the month of April. After the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, his son Chirag Paswan used to use this bungalow for party organisation meetings and other activities.
