USA: Since quite some time ago, WhatsApp has been working to enhance the Android app's user interface. Recently, beta users of the Android version of the app received an updated interface for the bottom navigation bar. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has now unveiled a redesigned interface for group settings. Only users of the beta channel have access to the update right now.

In addition to new features, even small tweaks made to WhatsApp can significantly enhance the user experience. The app, which is owned by Meta, seems to be doing everything it can to raise satisfaction. Given that the app heavily relies on group-related features, there have been a number of group-specific updates in recent months.

There is a toggle option built into the updated group settings interface. In other words, when you access a specific option within group settings, no additional window will pop up. Users now find it much simpler to enable or disable options all at once thanks to the automatic toggles. Not to mention that it also saves time.

The redesigned interface organises group settings so that both group administrators and participants can access them. The update will also reportedly include a menu item called "Add other participants," according to WABetaInfo. Administrators of the group may choose to allow other members to add new members by using this option.

Users on the Android beta channel are currently receiving the redesigned group settings interface. The beta firmware with the version ID 2.23.11.11 contains it.
