USA: The iOS version of WhatsApp will soon get a new feature that will let users create stickers directly from the app. For web users, the Meta-owned platform is also currently rolling out a new chat share sheet and a redesigned emoji panel. Currently, only a select group of beta testers can use these features.

For the iOS beta, a sticker-making feature is currently being created. However, thanks to WABetaInfo, we can get a sneak preview of the feature.
Users will soon have the option to create stickers using their own images.

For the purpose of removing a subject from an image, it will employ iOS 16 APIs. Following extraction, it will automatically be changed within the app into a sticker.

The "New Sticker" option will be added by WhatsApp to the chat share action sheet. Users will be taken to their device's image library after clicking it. The platform will provide some editing tools, including the ability to remove the background from the images.

By making some changes to the user interface, WhatsApp keeps enhancing the web client's user experience. Users of the most recent version of WhatsApp Web who have signed up for the beta programme can now test out the newly redesigned chat share sheet and emoji panel. This demonstrates WhatsApp's commitment to providing web users with a more streamlined instant messaging platform.

The chat share sheet has undergone a complete redesign by WhatsApp. Each icon has a name, and the window seems to be smaller. The emoji panel has also been updated in addition. It used to occupy the whole of the screen's bottom third. However, the most recent update presents the emoji panel separately and in a smaller size, along with the sticker and GIF tabs.

The sticker creation tool will be added to WhatsApp in a future app update. However, some online beta testers are starting to receive the updated emoji panel and new chat share sheet. Over the next few days, even more people will have access to them.
