Whatsapp have launched its text only status tool to the iOS users. Previously, the tool was updated on the Android mobile users, but now it is available for all the OS devices. This change is done specifically after users' demand.

The new version of the application is iOS version  2.17.10 or 'About'. To put your status on the status bar go to Settings and tap on your profile picture. You can choose the default status or can create one for yourself.

Now people, who don't want to update pictorial status can use this tool to update their status with text messages. This status helps users to know that the person is actually busy and can't reply to your text.
