Google has already been introduced with new features for spaces in Google Chat. Features such as setting up space managers, space guidelines and space description are also being given. Announcing through a blog post, Google has said that the purpose of these features is to help users better organize people, topics and projects.

The role of the space manager is going to give some users more control over the management in space. They may also be able to add details to the space and define guidelines that can establish rules and expectations to create a secure community experience for members.

In a blog post, Google said, "The manager's role provides devices to promote interaction and control the availability of space within an organization." Space Creators will be space managers by default. But if they want, they are going to give this responsibility to other members of the space as well. Google is now going to allow users to add details for space. This area can be used for details of the purpose of space. 

Users can add space details by selecting "View Space Details" when creating space or for the existing space. The ability to add details is going to be available on both the web and mobile. To view space details, users can select "View space details" or it can also be viewed when a user is viewing the "Browse Spaces" view. These new features have started rolling out to users from February 28. The role of the space manager is also expected to be a massive rollout by March 14, 2022. While the space details and space guidelines are expected to roll out later this month.
