Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the most loved and most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. She has featured in various big hit bollywood movies, The actress is celebrating her birthday today. Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss World in 1994e one of India's most well-known and powerful figures in the entertainment industry. She is celebrating her 49 th birthday. Aishwarya Rai has participated in various pageant shows. She is an fabulous example of women’s strength. The actress is not only recognized for her beauty but also for her intelligence. Aishwarya Rai is among one of the strongest women in Bollywood. Her love life always remained in headlines but what left everyone in shock when she revealed that she faced physical abuse by her boyfriend Salman Khan. She once speaking about Salman Khan said, “Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn’t able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”

She further said, “I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehavior in its worst phases and in turn I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical and emotional), infidelity and indignity. That is why like any other self-respecting woman I ended my relationship with him.” Even after being a big name in bollywood there were reports that Aishwarya Rai was thrown out of some film because of Salman Khan.

Salman Khan once when asked about the allegations made by Aishwarya Rai said, “No. I have never beaten her. Anyone can beat me up. Any fighter here on the sets can thrash me. That is why people are not scared of me. I do get emotional. Then I hurt myself. I have banged my head against the wall; I have hurt myself all over. I cannot hurt anyone else. I have only hit Subhash Ghai. Yet, I apologized to him the next day. There are times when you do get out of control. That person hit me with a spoon, almost broke a plate on my face, pissed on my shoes and grabbed me by the neck. I could not control myself. And see what happened. Next day, I had to go and apologize.”

On the Personal Front, Aishwarya has now been married to Abhishek Bachchan. The couple also had a daughter. They set major couple goals by their appearances. On the career front, Aishwarya Rai made her film debut in 1997 with dual roles in the Tamil film 'Iruvar,' directed by Mani Ratnam. Hindi film debut, 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya,'. Aishwarya Rai starred in the romantic drama 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' in 1999. Her next film, 'Taal' (1999), She appeared in numerous films like 'Josh' (2000), 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai' (2000), and 'Hum Kisise Kum Nahin' (2002). In 2002, she appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's love-saga 'Devdas,' She garnered international recognition film 'Bride and Prejudice' in 2004.  After a string of commercial failures, including 'Shabd' (2005), 'The Mistress of Spices' (2006), and 'Umrao Jaan' (2006), she once again found success with her role in the adventure film 'Dhoom 2' (2006) that proved to be a major box office hit. She appeared in 'Provoked' (2007), 'Jodhaa Akbar' (2008), 'Raavan' (2010), and 'Guzaarish' (2010). Speaking about her latest performances, her performanmce in Ae Dil hain Muskil was quite appreciated.
