Amruta Khanvilkar is one of the renowned actresses in the Marathi Industry. She came in the news after the actress appeared in Jhakak Dikhla Jaa. She was born to a Maharashtrian family in Mumbai in 1984. She has been featured in various Marathi movies and television serials in her career span.
Amruta Khanvilkar and Himanshu Malhorta met at the performance of India's Best Cinestar Ki Khoj and the couple got together.. During the show, they both first become close friends. And even after the program, they continued to see each other, who quickly became close friends. They have experienced difficulties in their career. but have remained close through all of the difficult times. They had entirely dissimilar origins. various casts, and even various cities.
The duo went above and beyond in their love. by taking part in a reality dancing competition. Himanshu joined in despite not knowing how to dance Himmanshoo first ran into some issues with Amruta which he himself reveals in the show. Amruta acknowledged this truth. Even though she followed all the instructions precisely, Himmanshoo was not present.

Once Amruta abruptly blocked Himanshu. The actress unfollowed him on all social networking sites and blocked his phone number. It grabbed all the limelight after that the media is flooded with divorce rumors but the couple reunited. The actress once speaking about the incident she said, "I realised how childish I was when I unblocked his number the next morning. Himanshu said that he kept calling me the entire night, but could not get through. It was a spur-of-the-moment act and I didn’t realize that it would lead to speculations about trouble in our marriage."
She further added, "As a person, I am not very expressive and so, I could not tell him that I missed him. Eventually, we ended up fighting and he hung up on me. I was so upset, I blocked his number in the heat of the moment and unfollowed him on social media.”

On the career front, Amruta Khanvilkar started her career as a competitor on India's Best Cinestar Ki Khoj in 2004. She has featured in films like Golmaal (2006) was her first Marathi movie, and Mumbai Salsa (2006) was her first Hindi movie (2007). Commercial success followed with Saade Maade Teen (2007) and Phoonk (2008). Amruta Khanvilkar has also participated in reality TV series like Nach Baliye 7 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. She has also anchored Dance Maharashtra Dance - Season 1 (2012), Dance India Dance 6, and Famously Filmfare Marathi, among others (2018).
