Emraan Hashmi is among one of the most popular and loved actors in Bollywood. He has worked in various films.  He is popularly known as 'Serial Kisser', famous for his bold scenes in films. Emraan Hashmi has nothing to do with controversies. He is  of the actors with very less controversies.

There are only some controversies of Emraan one it was calling Aishwarya Rai plastic in Koffee with Karan and other one is not getting a house in Mumbai. Emraan once claimed that he did not get house in Mumbai because of his religion. In the year 2009, Emraan Hashmi made such a claim in an interview, which surprised everyone. During the press conference, Emraan had told that he had seen a house in a housing society in Pali Hill, a posh area of Mumbai, which he also liked.

He said that he could not buy that house even if he wanted to, because being a Muslim, the housing society refused to give the actor a house. There was a lot of controversy after this revelation of Emraan. He once said, “ This is clearly a case of religious discrimination. Some people told me that this society is biased towards Muslims. They did not tell me directly but it is obvious."

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Dybbuk, a horror thriller, in 2021. In 2022, the actor has been busy shooting for his upcoming movie Ground Zero. He wrapped the shooting for the film in November. The film is directed by Tejas Vijay Deoskar, known for Marathi films such as Ajinkya and Bucket List, and is reportedly a military thriller. Emraan Hashmi has also started work on his film Selfiee with Akshay Kumar. The actor has always been popular for his songs.
