Lucknow: Even though the Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) claims to remove illegal encroachments, it has been accused of running bulldozers on the houses of the poor. This allegation has been made by Sonam Kinnar, who is sitting on a high position in the Yogi Adityanath government. Sonam Kinnar, Vice-Chairman of the Kinnar Board, who has the status of Minister of State, has accused the BDA of running a bulldozer at the homes of the poor.
During a meeting with the Bareilly district administration on Thursday, Sonam Kinnar said that when a eunuch is not getting justice, then what justice will the common citizens get from this government and administration. He said that the BDA has run bulldozers on the houses of about 200 poor families. Sonam Kinnar said that due to the bulldozer running at home, people are forced to live in the scorching sun under the open sky. However, the authorities have dismissed the allegation of running a bulldozer at the homes of the poor. After this, the Minister of State, Sonam Chishti, sat on a dharna since noon to protest against running a bulldozer on the poor.
Even after Sonam Kinnar's dharna, the officers did not agree, then they announced their resignation. Sonam Kinnar said that I will resign from the post of Vice-Chairman of the Kinnar Board, will go to Raj Bhavan and submit my resignation to Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath tomorrow (Friday). The district administration is doing its work arbitrarily. Sonam Kinnar further said that with great difficulty eunuchs are able to get houses built, if the problem is not solved today, then I will sit on this dharna today. He said that now every eunuch will have an identity card, in which their area will also be written so that eunuchs do not fight among themselves over the area. There is also a plan to make eunuchs self-reliant.
