Delhi Police has detained a hacker who has deleted the data of 18 thousand patients after four cyber attacks. Apart from this, this hacker has obtained information related to the billing of three lakh patients. The hacker made a fake entry of 22000 patients. This person has been identified as Vikesh Sharma.
According to DCP Vijayanta Arya of North West city, Kunal Aggarwal, CEO of Easy Solutions Private Limited has filed a complaint. An unknown person has hacked the data of some hospitals and other hospitals of the epidemic. After this complaint, the cyber cell registered a case and started investigating the case. During investigation, the hacker's IP address was found by Shahdara, which was in the name of Vikesh Sharma. Delhi Police has raided Shahdara and taken the accused Vikesh Sharma into custody. The accused has confessed his mistake.
Accused Vikesh Sharma said that he did MSC from IT, and he said that he was working in the company as senior software engineer. In the lockdown, the company reduced his salary and expelled him from his job. Then the idea of revenge came in his mind. He had complete information about the company's website, so after going to the job, he decided to do such harm to the company, that he would kneel down, and then the owner met him for help. For this purpose, he carried out four cyber attacks and erased 18000 patients data.
