Virender Sehwag has hardly been able to forget the feats on the field. Naved made 3 consecutive no balls, out of this, two balls were hit. Then a right ball, on which no runs were scored. After this, Naved again bowled two balls, out of this, one ball was hit, while did not score any runs on the second ball. In this way, total 17 runs, including 12 fours off 3 fours and five extra runs of five no balls.

India scored 349 runs while batting first. Sehwag scored 79 runs in 57 balls with the help of 14 chalks and 1 six. Rahul Dravid scored 99 runs. In response, Pakistan's team lost by 5 runs despite Inzamam-ul-Haq's 122 runs. Pakistan bowler Naved scored 73 runs in 10 overs.
