Sitamarhi: In a shocking incident, a girl was attacked with knives and severely injured by a man in Bihar's Sitamarhi district. The seriously injured girl has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Where her condition remains worrisome.
It is being said that the girl refused the marriage. Angered by this, the man tried to kill her. The incident took place in Hari Bela village of Dighi panchayat under Bathnaha police station area of the district. Chandan Kumar, a resident of the village, was pressuring Chandni Kumari, who lives here, to get married. However, the girl flatly refused to get married. An enraged Chandan attacked her with knives and seriously injured her. Locals admitted the girl to a nursing home.
Villagers say that both of them were having a love affair for the last 4-5 years. When the family came to know about it, the couple was separated by the panchayat. Last 6 months ago, the boyfriend also made photos and videos taken with his girlfriend viral. The girl's family lodged a complaint with the local police station. In her complaint, the injured girl told the police that the boy attacked her with knives after she refused to marry him. SP Manoj Kumar Tiwari said that the police immediately took action and arrested the criminal who was trying to escape. The girl is being treated at a local hospital. At present, her condition is out of danger.
