Rajkot: The death of an 8-year-old boy in Rajkot, Gujarat is in light. The child was beaten with a stick by his father for not eating food. After some time, when the son started playing mischief again, the father picked up the stick again, causing the child to run away from the house and fall running. The child later fell asleep, but his health suddenly deteriorated late at night. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The case has come to light from the Nandanvan Society near Rani Tower on Kalawad Road in Rajkot. There was a Nepali family here. The child's father is manning. Last night the father called the child to eat, but the child did not come. Angered by this, the father hit the child with a stick. After a while, the child started playing mischief again. When the father picked up the stick again, the child left the house and started running, and fell while running. Later the child came and fell asleep. His health suddenly deteriorated late at night.

Saurabh Bhardwaj, 8, was taken to the Civil Hospital in Rajkot where doctors declared him brought dead. The child's father Siddharaj had told police that the child had fallen while playing, causing injuries. But the doctor examined and found that the child had a lot of bruises on his body. In which marks of beating with sticks were also found on the feet, back and hands. When the police questioned his father a little tightly, he admitted to the police that he had beaten his son with a stick in the evening. Police have registered a case for the time being and taken Saurabh's father into custody.
