Worldwide, the number of patients of covid-19 has exceeded 11.49 crores. The vaccination drive is still going on to defeat corona in most countries including India. During this time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the world will not get rid of covid this year. WHO's emergency director Michael Ryan said these things while warning on Monday. He said that cases of corona have increased worldwide in the last week. We need to learn a lesson from this. It has been learned that 'it is wrong to think that this year the world can get success in the battle of covid, but it will be successful in getting out of this tragedy by reducing the hospitalized patients and deaths. According to 'https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/' more than 96 million people have been cured by covid-19 so far. So far, more than 25 lakh 49 thousand people have been killed by this virus.

Corona cases increase concern: WHO Chief Trados Gabresias said that the cases of corona have increased in the countries of Europe, America, and South-East Asia in the past week. This has been seen for the first time in the last 7 weeks. He said that it is very disappointing. One big reason for this is that in many countries there can be relaxation in strictures. People are being careless, due to which the covid variant is spreading rapidly.

Vaccination started in African countries: During this time, vaccination has started against corona in African countries. The WHO said that the vaccine has started to be introduced to people in the West African country of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. Last week, the Serum Institute in both countries delivered the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine. 6 lakh doses of vaccine were given to Ghana on 24 February and 5.04 lakh doses were given to Kot-Divoy two days later. The vaccine has been delivered here under the Covax campaign to bring vaccines to all countries.
