Dehradun: The opposition has attacked BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt for his statement about hoisting the flag in his houses. Former CM Harish Rawat said that who is the BJP to measure the level of patriotism of someone. The former Chief Minister said that if hoisting the tricolour flag at home is called patriotism, then there have been many individuals and organizations close to him, who did not hoist the tricolour for years.

Perhaps he hesitates even today for this. The former chief minister said 42 crore people in the country are below the poverty line. There are more than 50 crores for whom there is a question of raising every day's bread. In this figure, 37 crore people have gone below the poverty line in the last seven and a half years under the BJP rule. "From where will such persons get money to buy flags and sticks?''

The criteria should not be made such that any of your citizens have difficulty in jumping. Congress state president Karan Mahra said the Sangh did not hoist the flag in its office for 51 years. When three boys hoisted the flag in his office, they had to face trial till 2013. Former Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal said the BJP state president's statement was childish. While holding the post of state president, he should speak thoughtfully. Most people in the hills have not been able to put up the tricolour as their economy has declined during the BJP tenure. All the people in the mountain love the country. If the BJP state president wants to find out about those who do not wear tricolour, then they have to head to the RSS in Nagpur. You should know about it by going there.
