New Delhi: Twitter CEO Jack Dorsi has resigned and has now been replaced by the company's CEO Parag Agarwal. He himself shared the post on his Twitter. Parag Agarwal was highly praised for his work on Artificial Intelligence to enhance the importance of tweets on Twitter. While he was studying at Standford University, he did internships in giants like Microsoft, Yahoo and AT&T. New Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal has received an engineering degree from IIT Bombay. In addition, he has a doctorate in computer science from Stanford University. Parag Agarwal has been working with Twitter since 2011 and has been posted as the company's CTO since 2017. When he joined the company, twitter had less than 1000 employees. Jack Dorsi spoke of resigning in a tweet and in his tweet itself said that Parag Agarwal is going to be CEO next. He also heaped praise on Parag Agarwal in the letter attached to his tweet. Jack Dorsi has said that Parag Agarwal had a very brilliant performance in the last 10 years. Parag Agarwal also tweeted after Jack Dorsi resigned.

He wrote that thank you very much to Jack and our entire team. He further wrote that he is very excited about the future. He also thanked everyone for their support and trust in them. Jack Dorsi had to resign as CEO twitter because he is also CEO square, a financial payments company. The square was founded by him. Some of the big investors had also questioned Jack Dorsi's CEO of 2 companies simultaneously. Questions were being raised whether he would be able to lead both the companies effectively. That is why he had decided to resign. It was Jack Dorsy who founded Twitter 15 first in March 2006 and then CEO the company until 2008. He was removed from the post in 2008 and returned to the company in 2015 when Dick Kostolo stepped down as a twitter CEO.
