Washington: All the countries including India have given their full strength in defeating the Coronavirus. There is no stage of community transmission in India yet. Meanwhile, Dr. Michael J. Ryan, director of the World Health Organization (WHO), has said that how the coronavirus (COVID19) will affect the future will be determined by the actions of countries with large populations like India.

He said, 'Like China, India is a country with a large population. The far-reaching consequences of the coronavirus will depend on what steps countries take with regard to it. It is very important that India continue to take tough and serious decisions at the level of public health for its people.' Ryan said that India led the world in the eradication of two silent killers - small pox and polio. India has tremendous potential, all countries have tremendous potential. When communities and societies are united, any goal can be achieved. India fought a long battle with polio and only a few years ago, India has become polio free.
