Chandigarh: AAP will announce the name of its chief minister who is preparing for the Punjab Assembly elections at 12 noon on Tuesday. This was stated by party convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. More than 15 lakh people have cast their votes in 72 hours on the number issued by AAP to choose the CM face of the party in Punjab.

On Sunday, senior AAP leader and leader of opposition in the Assembly Harpal Singh Cheema told the media that more than 5.5 lakh people have given their case through WhatsApp, nearly 7 lakh people have made calls, 1.5 lakh people have given their case through voice messages and 1.5 lakh people through text messages in the last 72 hours. Reacting to the huge statistics received by the people of Punjab, Harpal Singh Cheema said that the response received by the people of Punjab to make him the CM of AAP in lakhs of figures proves that the people of Punjab have made up their mind to give an opportunity to AAP this time.
