The boundary dispute between India and China is years old. There are many areas of India, on which China has been claiming. One of these is Arunachal Pradesh, which is the 24th state of India and it is the largest state among the geographically northeastern states. China has been lying behind it for many years. Actually, he considers it his territory. China calls Arunachal Pradesh as southern Tibet. Although Tibet had declared itself as an independent nation many years ago, but China does not believe it and has been asserting its authority over it. Today we are going to tell you about this.

In the beginning, let China claim about Tawang, the northern part of Arunachal Pradesh. Actually, Tawang is a beautiful city here, which is situated at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Himalayas. There is also a huge Buddhist temple, which dates back to the 17th century. It is a sacred place for the Buddhists of Tibet. They also say that in ancient times Indian rulers and Tibetan rulers did not set any definite boundary between Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh. Even till 1912, no clear demarcation line was drawn between Tibet and India, as neither Mughal nor British had any authority over these areas. Due to this, people of India and Tibet were also in a state of confusion about the border.

Actually, representatives of Tibet, China and British India met in Shimla in 1914 to determine the boundary line. At that time, the British rulers considered Tawang and the southern part of India, which has been accepted by the representatives of Tibet, but China was not ready to accept it. So he left the meeting. Later this whole area was recognized internationally and it came on the map of India and the world.
