Patna: A day after protesting on Jantar Mantar issue of Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Janata Dal-United (JDU) thanked Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his speech. In a press conference held in Delhi on Sunday, the party's national general secretary KC Tyagi said that Rahul Gandhi's speech was the most balanced and limited. They also said that we want them to believe that Nitish Kumar's government has not yet spared any accused nor will he leave them.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had said on Jantar Mantar that Nitish gave the statement on being ashamed and  Nitish Ji should act as soon as possible. Those who are responsible should take action on them and punish those who have to be punished, who have to be put in jail, should take action against them as soon as possible.

Kejriwal said that women are not safe in public places and homes but also on social media. Describing it as an atmosphere of BJP-sponsored fear, he said that his own women leader on social media is not safe in the BJP regime. Kejriwal said without naming Nitish Kumar, he cautioned them, "A Nirbhaya scandal shook the throne of the then UPA government. Now there has been vicious misconduct with 40 girls, the anger of the people is visible from Bihar to Delhi and the whole country."

At the same time, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in this regard said in a government program in Patna that the person who will mess up will go inside and they are not going to save anyone. Nitish said that we have not compromised anyone till date and are not going to do it in future too.
