Srinagar: In the film 'The Kashmir Files' directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the gruesome reality of 1990s Islamic Jihad and the genocide and exodus of Kashmiri Hindus has been brought to the screen. This film is in a lot of headlines these days. Amidst the ongoing discussion and debate on the content of this film, former Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir Shesh Paul Vaid has made a big disclosure on Thursday (17 March 2022). Vaid has blamed the Congress government at the Center in 1989 for the rise of terrorism in the country.

Superintendent of Police Vaid has said through Twitter that very few people will probably know that the Jammu and Kashmir Police had arrested the first batch of 70 terrorists trained by Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. The former DGP said in a surprising revelation that he had to leave because of the political decision of the then J&K government led by Farooq Abdullah. Later these terrorists led many terrorist organizations in the state. Former DGP of the state, Shesh Paul Vaid, has also given the names of the terrorists who were released by the Farooq Abdullah government. Later these terrorists carried out many terrorist incidents in the valley.

Let us inform that Farooq Abdullah was the CM of Jammu and Kashmir from 1987 to 1990. At the same time, Islamic Jihadis massacred Kashmiri Hindus. Along with this, questioning the Congress government led by Rajiv Gandhi at the Center during that time, the former DGP asked, 'Was it possible without the knowledge of the Central Government of 1989?' The terrorists named by the former DGP include Mohammad Afzal Sheikh of Trehgam, Rafiq Ahmed Ahangar, Mohammad Ayub Nazar, Farooq Ahmed Ghani, Ghulam Mohammad Gujri, Farooq Ahmed Malik, Nazir Ahmed Sheikh and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Teli. .

Let us tell you that between July and December 1989, the government of Farooq Abdullah released 70 radical Islamist terrorists. Later these dreaded terrorists carried out many terrorist incidents in India with the support of Pakistan. He played an important role in the protests against Hindus and promotion of Islamic extremism in the Valley. Atrocities against Hindus increased in 1990 due to the constructed narrative against Hindus, which has later reached the extent of massacre of this community. As a result, radical Islamic jihadists in the valley forced millions of Kashmiri Hindus to leave the valley.

By March 1990, Islamic terrorists had raped, murdered and looted thousands of Hindu women in Kashmir. Kashmiri Hindus were forced to become refugees in their own country. They were rehabilitated under inhuman conditions in Jammu camps. With the release of The Kashmir Files, the debate over the years-long debate over the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus by radical Islamist terrorists has resumed. The film also tells how during that time the central and state governments had become Dhritarashtra on the suffering of Kashmiri Hindus.
