New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today questioned punjab pradesh congress unit president Navjot Sidhu's silence on the guru granth sahib's humiliation in Pakistan. Tarun said why the Congress party and its leaders are not speaking on the issue. He strongly condemned the incident at Gurudwara Sri Guru Harkrishna Sahib in Kot Mir Badan Khan Bajrani village under Kashmore district of Sindh.

At the same time, he demanded strict action from the Government of Pakistan against the culprits, saying it was shameful and hurt the religious sentiments of Sikhs and Hindus. Guru Granth Sahib was not only insulted but Rs 1.5 lakh was also stolen from the donation box. The BJP leader further said that minorities in Pakistan are insecure and under threat, but are also living in too much humiliation.

Chugh said why Sidhu is silent on such matters, he praises Pak PM Imran Khan and calls him his elder brother. What a friendship this is if Sidhu cannot protect the interests of Sikhs in Pakistan. The shrines of Sikhs and Hindus in Pakistan should be protected by Pakistan's Army Chief General Bajwa, who was embraced by Sidhu. Chugh said Sidhu should stop joking with Punjab and bring seriousness to his work.
