Mumbai: A war has broken out over the inauguration program of the new Parliament building. Opposition parties have been relentlessly attacking the Modi government for not inviting President Draupadi Murmu to the inauguration ceremony of Parliament House. Some opposition parties have decided not to attend the inaugural function. Meanwhile, on Saturday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar accused the Modi government of not taking confidence due to the construction of Parliament building.  

"I have been an MP for many years. We read in the newspaper that a new Parliament building will be built. While taking such an important decision, there was a need to take the Members of Parliament into confidence. Sharad Pawar said that no one was invited even for bhoomi pujan. Now the Parliament House is ready. The opposition should have been taken into confidence. Therefore, we accept the decision of some parties to boycott it." 

It is being told that Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar has demanded the Election Commission to form a Shiv Sena party instead of both the factions. When asked about this, Sharad Pawar said, "It means that the decision-making process has started." On the issue of implementation of uniform civil code in four states of the country, Pawar said, "This is wrong. There is no truth in this news. Nothing of that sort happened. Let us tell you that the new Parliament building of the country will be inaugurated on May 28. PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate this building, but now politics has erupted in the country about this beautiful building. They are criticising Prime Minister Modi.
