Elon Musk's transgender daughter has filed a request to change her name according to her new gender identity. "I no longer live or belong to my biological father in any way, shape or form. In April, Santa Monica filed a petition at los angeles county superior court for both the name change and a new birth certificate indicating her new gender identity. It's also getting to see some online media reports lately.

I want to change the name: PlainSite. According to court documents available online via org, former Javier Alexander Musk, who recently turned 18 in California, has asked the court to change her gender identity from male to female and enter her new name. His new name was modified in the online document. His mother is Justin Wilson, who also divorced Musk in 2008.

Why did the rift come?: Let's tell you that no further explanation of the rift between  Musk's daughter and her father, Tesla and the SpaceX chief, was given. Neither the lawyer representing Musk nor the Tesla media office has immediately responded to a Reuters email requesting comment on Monday. In May, nearly a month after the name and gender change document was filed, Musk declared his support for the Republican Party, whose elected representatives are supporting legislation limiting transgender rights in states across the country.
