Kiku Sharda needs no introduction in today's time. He has made a big name in making the audience laugh and entertain them with his comedy. For the last 11 years, he has been a part of Kapil Sharma's comedy show, where he is often seen in a woman's getup. Recently, in an interview, Kiku told why he plays a female character by wearing a sari in the show.
Why are female characters created?
Speaking to The Indian Express, Kiku thanked the audience for accepting his cross-dressing. "I never had a problem dressing up as a woman. I have done it since 'The Great Indian Comedy Show' days. I am an actor, and I can do whatever I need to do for my work," he said. He also added that when he plays a female character, he makes sure it is dignified and enduring. "If the audience doesn't accept it, I don't continue with it," he said.

Kiku told that there has been a big change in his life after joining Kapil Sharma's show. He said, "Kapil is at a different height. I have been on this show for 11 years, but working with him has taught me a lot. It has helped me become the person I am today."

Let us tell you that Kiku has recently returned to Netflix with season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show. In this show, he will be seen with Krishna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Sunil Grover, and Archana Puran Singh. In the first episode of the show, Karan Johar and Vedang Raina appeared as guests along with Alia Bhatt. They were promoting their upcoming film Jigda.
