Varanasi: Writing a letter to the Varanasi District Court on behalf of the Anjuman Intragenia Committee, it has been demanded that the report of the commission in the Gyanvapi mosque survey case should not be made public. The letter also mentions applications in court for certified copy of the commission's order. Committee's counsel Merajuddin Siddiqui told the media that he has urged that the report, photographs and videos of the commission be shared only with the concerned parties and that the report, photographs and videos be shared only with the concerned parties and the report should not be made public. Go. He said that we will be given the report on May 30.

Earlier on Thursday, the District Court heard the petition of five Hindu women seeking permission for daily worship of Shringar Gauri Sthal in the Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi complex and adjourned the hearing in the matter till Monday. The Muslim side has argued that this petition is not maintainable. Because the Places of Worship Act 1991 prohibits the conversion of any place of worship and mandates the preservation of the religious character of any place of worship as it existed on 15 August 1947.

After the filing of the petition, the Lower Court ordered a videography survey of the Gyanvapi complex and the Hindu side claimed that a Shivling was found during the survey. On May 20, the Supreme Court, while transferring the case from a civil judge to a district judge, said that in view of the complexities and sensitivity of the issue, it would be better for a senior judicial officer to handle the matter.
