New Delhi: India is mainly being vaccinated with two corona vaccines. This includes both Covishield and Covaxin. But people planning to go to the UK with the corona vaccine have suffered a major setback. New guidelines (UK India flight guidelines) have been issued by UK (including England, Scotland and Northern Ireland), which are scheduled to come into effect from October 4. It does not recognize both corona vaccines in India.

To the extent that the Covishield, which has been developed by the Serum Institute, is being vaccinated in the UK as Astragenica-Oxford. Even then, Britain has not recognized the Covishield. According to the rules currently framed by Britain, people vaccinated with Covishield and Covaxin will be treated as 'unvaccinated.' That means they have to accept all the conditions that the vaccinator has to fulfil. Although Sputnik is also being vaccinated against corona in India, it has also not been recognized in the list.

In its order, the UK has said that fully vaccinated passengers from India as well as many other countries like Thailand and Africa will have to remain quarantined for 10 days. At the same time, RT-PCR tests will have to be conducted several times. Well, these rules are already in force, India was now expecting a discount, but it did not happen.
