You might aware of the fact that Maida or White Floor is very unhealthy for your health. It has various harmful effects on Your Heath and therefore it is also considered a white floor. You might feel you eat Maida in fewer quantities but the fact is that maida is present in almost every snack available in the market.

Regular consumers of MAIDA or White Flour are more likely to gain weight, become obese, develop type 2 diabetes, have insulin resistance, and have high cholesterol. You may be consuming white flour without even being about the quantity present in the snacks. Maida is present in Pizza & Pasta, Nans & Rotis, Cakes & Cookies, Bread, Burger Buns, Samosa, Noodles, Doughnuts and various other snacks.  There are various disadvantages of eating Maida. Following are the main causes.

Weight Gain: The lack of fiber in maida makes it simple to digest and absorb. Refined flours have a high glycemic index because of this. Any food made with maida immediately induces a surge in blood sugar that lasts for an hour or two before it starts to fall. You can eat a large amount of Maida without even realizing and that results in an increase in weight gain.

Cancer: Low fiber consumption, imbalanced omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, obesity, and impaired glucose metabolism—all of which are significant risk factors for cancer—are caused by zero-nutrient foods like refined flour.

Skin Problems: There are various components in Maida that cause various skin problems like acne.  A skin condition that affects people of all ages, has been demonstrated to be significantly influenced by lifestyle variables related to nutrition.  Consuming refined carbs causes an overproduction of insulin, which in turn increases sebum production in skin follicles, obstructing the follicles and causing irritated skin lesions, such as pimples.

Causes PCOS: Among women, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal condition that also causes due to your diet. It has been linked to both low-grade inflammation and insulin resistance. Maida exacerbates already increased insulin and inflammatory markers in PCOS-affected women. Therefore, it is strongly advised to stop using refined white flour.
