Spend a day out in the Omodos region, trundling through the scenic vineyards and ‘krasohoria’ (wine making villages). History buffs will love the variety of archaeological sites. From the pre-Christian Salamis to the neolithic Choirokoitia, to the multi-period Ancient Kourion, these sites are some of the most impressive in the region.
