Shark Tank India became one of the most popular television shows when its first season was telecasted. The videos and memes of the show went viral on social popularity. Due to the massive success of the season, they are back with the next season. Shark Tank India's season 2 has started today.

In the first episode of the season, the sharks heard  a few interesting pitches and decided to invest in some of them. All the shark got very impressed by a makeup brand, Recode , but was rejected mainly because it was a competitor brand for  one shark Vineet makeup brand, Sugar.  All  the shark, except Peyush Bansal, rejected the pitch just because it was from the same industry as Vineeta Singh. The Sugar co-founder was also left surprised when she was told Sugar also follows Recode on Instagram.

As soon as it caught the eyes of people they started commenting on it . One user wrote, “Disappointed with Shark Tank India this season, poor people who have the same line of business as any of the judges, will not get investment just because shark doesn't want to lose their friend. What kind of logic is that?”  One more asked, “why have they turned Shark Tank season 2 into a full tv serial drama. “mein apne doston ke competition pe invest nahi karta” bhai??? y’all are an investor what is wrong with you guys?? I love how Peyush went this is stupid.”

The Sharks of this season are Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com - People Group), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com), along with new shark - Amit Jain (CEO and Co-founder - Cardekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com).
