Today we will talk to you about the upcoming festival of Nag Panchami. Here we will tell you why the festival of Nag Panchami is celebrated after all.

Nag Panchmi is also one of the major festivals of Indian culture. On this day, the 'Naag Devta' is worshiped. During this time, there is an atmosphere of joy in the houses. Wheat, gram and sindai etc. are also boiled and eaten on this day. Astrology Ganapati Gopal Shastri states that the serpent deity is considered as the lord of Panchami Tithi. On this day a person who worships the Nag Devta should not even do the work of digging the land.

On Nag Panchami, people have to go through many rules. People also fast on this day and they open their fast on Panchami Tithi in the evening a day before that i.e. on the Chaturthi date. Nag Devta is worshiped during the day. Along with feeding, they are also offered kheer.
