Kanpur: Recently, another case has surfaced from Maswanpur of Kalyanpur in Kanpur, UP on Friday night where a young man shot his wife's head. After this, he shot himself and died on the spot. The wife has been admitted to hospital in critical condition, where her condition is critical. It is being told that the young man used to do tailoring work. The same young man's brother told that on 12 February 2019 this year, Pankaj was married to a woman resident of Swaroop Nagar.

Teenager kidnapped, converted and got married forcibly

According to the information received, after a few months of marriage, there was a rift between them. For the last two days, Neha was insisting to go to her maternal home and on this, they started disputing. Pankaj reached home after getting drunk on Friday night. When the dispute with his wife escalated, he took out a gun and shot it on the wife's head.

Used to do government work with bribe, police arrests

The same sources say that after loading the pistol, he reached the roof of the house and shot himself. The young man died on the spot. The shooting caused a stir in the area. On receiving the information of this incident, CO Kalyanpur Ajay Kumar and Station Incharge Ashwani Kumar Pandey inquired from the people nearby. The forensic team went to the spot and gathered evidence. Police have taken pistol in custody, but the reason behind the crime has not been revealed. the whole issue is still under investigation by the police.
