A similar incident was reported in Rajasthan last month. Here in Bharatpur, a woman along with her lover brutally killed her husband. Police said that on May 29, 2022, Reema along with her boyfriend Bhagendra killed her husband Pawan. Then Pawan's body was placed on the bed and went to the kitchen and made whole vegetables and Kheer in the food. After this, she had dinner with Bhagendra and threw the body in a nearby canal at night. Reema kept hiding the murder incident for 6 months. So that no one can doubt, Reema also kept a Karva Chauth fast for Pawan on October 13. The matter came to light when Pawan's father lodged a missing person's report on suspicion.
On June 4, 2022, Pawan's father Hariprasad lodged a missing report at the Chiksana police station. Police and family kept looking for Pawan, but could not find him. Meanwhile, on the night of October 16, the father-in-law caught the daughter-in-law red-handed with her lover. On the basis of suspicion, the father-in-law filed a murder case against the daughter-in-law and lover.
