Jaipur: A police constable committed suicide by consuming poison in Jhalawar city of Rajasthan as his wife was enraged at KarwaChauth. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and took the constable to Hospital in Jhalawar where he was declared dead.

Police constable Hanuman Singh, a resident of Indira Colony in Jhalawar city, consumed poison in the morning. On receiving the information, the police force reached the constable's residence. Hanuman Singh's body was brought to the mortuary of SRG Hospital and Medical College where the postmortem was conducted.
 
Jitendra Sinh Shekhawat, police station officer of Jhalrapatan, informed the media about the incident and a suicide case has been registered and an inquiry has been initiated. The deceased police constable Hanuman Singh had been suspended for a long time due to a criminal case related to the abduction of the girl.
