The WikiLeaks report reveals that US intelligence agency CIA is using tools designed by US-based technology provider Cross Match Technologies for cyber espionage, which may include base data. However the official sources of India have dismissed it.

Cross Match Technologies, the statutory body for Aadhaar, provides biometric equipment to the Indian Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI). WikiLeaks documents say that the CIA has used ExpressLine, a tool designed by Cross Match Technologies. This has led to the claim that the CIA has entered in the base.

According to WikiLeaks article, UIDAI has not been able to investigate the background of these companies or their business, professional and private organizations, as far as is known. It claims that CIA agents can use base databases in realtime.

WikiLeaks tweeted whether the CIA spy has already stolen the National Identity Card of India? After this, another tweet was written, that the CIA has already stolen the base database of India?

Although official sources say that the report has not leaked to Wikileaks, it is a report by a website. Cross Match is a global supplier of biometric devices used for data capture. But the collected data can not reach the company or any other entity because the vendor collects data in an encrypted form which is transferred to the base server. There really is no basis in the reports. Base data is encrypted securely and no agency can access it.
