Dehradun: The forests are burning in every place from Garhwal to Kumaon division in Uttarakhand. The situation is becoming so fragile that many places have reached the fire population. A fire broke out in the low-lying area of ​​Raj Bhavan Road in Nainital on Saturday morning. This area is about 1 km from Raj Bhavan. is far. The forest department team overcame the fire within a radius of 200 meters. Apart from this, 2 houses were badly damaged by a forest fire near Patal Bhubaneswar in Pithoragarh district, while 3 houses were partially damaged. The fog in the forest has caused haze in many places. 39 fire incidents were reported in the state in the last 24 hours.

983 incidents have been recorded: It has been learned that the process of fire in the forests in the state has been going on since October last year. This is the reason why the government has declared the entire year as fire season. The fire season is usually from 15 February to 15 June. In the last 6 months, 983 fire incidents have been reported in the state. The maximum of these was in 584 Garhwal and 378 in the Kumaon division. In addition, 21 incidents have occurred in protected forest areas. A total of 1291.13 hectares of forest has been damaged, while five people have lost their lives.

The case will be on those who put the fire: According to the information received, the fire burning in the forest has started to overwhelm the wild animals also. Uttarkashi District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that on March 24, a mangled scorching condition was found near Maneri in the Badahat range. An attempt was also made to treat him, but could not be saved. The forests are burning in Uttarkashi Forest Division, Upper Yamuna Forest Division, and Towns Forest Division. According to the DM, more than three hundred employees of the forest department have been engaged to extinguish the fire in the district. Director-General of Police Ashok Kumar has appealed to the public to immediately inform the fire service and the forest department. At the same time, it has also warned to file a lawsuit against mischievous elements who set fire to forests. He also instructed all the police stations to keep an eye on these mischievous elements.
