New Delhi: Will Azam Khan celebrate Eid this time with his family or will he remain in jail? The answer to this question will be found on May 2. In fact, the Supreme Court has fixed the same date on his bail plea in the enemy property case. Let us inform that on behalf of Azam Khan's lawyer, a petition was filed in the apex court today. It was said in this petition that the Allahabad High Court has reserved the decision on the bail petition, but has not pronounced the verdict. At the same time, the High Court can give its decision in this matter on May 4.

On Thursday, while filing a petition in this matter, the UP government has sought time to present some more facts. The High Court has fixed May 4 for hearing in this matter. This ruined Azam Khan's hopes of coming out of jail before Eid. But on Friday, the matter came to the Supreme Court, so the date of May 2 was fixed for it. Now once again the supporters of Azam Khan have got the hope of coming out of his jail soon.

Let us inform that after becoming an MP in the year 2019, a total of 72 cases were registered against Azam Khan. Of these, he has been granted bail in 71. Only one case is left of enemy property. In 2019, a case was registered against Azam Khan in the Azimnagar police station for capturing enemy property and mixing it with Jauhar University. The police had also filed a charge sheet in this. The matter was heard on December 4. Since then the court had reserved its decision.
