New Delhi: Team India's experienced batsman Cheteshwar Pujara is in England these days, where he remains a key part of Sussex's team in the County Championship. However, the match on the last day of the county match between Sussex and Lestershire County took place in Lester, England on Sunday. Away from the glare of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), Cheteshwar Pujara has been working hard in the county with the hope of his return to Team India and is consistently doing well.

Hoping for a great comeback in T20, Cheteshwar Pujari has termed Sussex's stint on the country's own micro-blogging platform Koo App as amazing. They post on the Koo app saying: @sussexccc had an amazing early stint with, thanks to the memorable time here. All the best for T20. I look forward to coming back soon.

Apart from all this, recently Pujara and his team Sussex players had to face a peculiar situation on the field, where the team had to stop the match midway for a while due to the sky disaster and the players lay down on the field to save themselves. In fact, this incident took place on Sunday, May 15, when the play on the final day of the county match between Sussex and Lestershire County in Lester, England, was underway. Lestershire were batting in their second innings. During this time, suddenly the player who was batting was removed from the crease and lay down on the field. His sight-seeing wicketkeepers, bowlers, other fielders and umpires also lay down in their respective places, which shocked everyone. However, it didn't take long to understand the reason for this and everyone came to know that the bees' flock is hovering above the pitch.

The score of 203 runs is the name

At the same time, if we talk about Pujara's highest individual score, he has a high score of 203 runs to his name, which he scored against Durham. Recently, he did not get a place in Team India due to not being able to score runs, after which he turned to county cricket with the aim of regaining his form and now he has given a befitting reply to his critics with his bat. Pujara was signed by the Sussex County Cricket Club in place of Australian batsman Travis Head since then they have been scoring runs continuously. Talking about his innings so far, he has scored 6 and 201 not out against Derbyshire, 109 and 12 against Worcestershire and 203 against Durham in three matches. In the ongoing game against Middlesex, Pujara is unbeaten on 144 runs.

If we talk about Pujara's international cricket career, he has so far scored 6,713 runs at an average of 43.87 for India in 95 Tests, including 32 half-centuries and 13 centuries. Apart from this, he has also played 5 ODIs for India. Pujara's consistently good innings played has raised his hopes of making a comeback to the T20.
